Tarboro's Second Saturdays - Tarboro, NC

Every month, from April through December, on the 2nd Saturday of the month, The Grassroots of Tarboro will sponsor and promote a slew of events and activities.  Tarboro's Second Saturdays is a monthly town-wide event coordinated BY the people FOR the people.  2008 is our first year, so we've got a lot of work ahead of us, but our goal is for these monthly events to promote our town and help to make Tarboro a popular day-trip destination.   We'll try to have different activities EVERY month, planning for a full day of fun for folks of all ages.

We are encouraging all merchants, organizations, clubs, schools, churchs and residents to participate.

We'd also like to invite all artists, musicians, crafts-people, performers, story-tellers, dancers and food vendors to join in our monthly events.


Any additional ideas, input, comments, suggestions, etc. are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
