Every month, on the 2nd Saturday of the month, something fun is going on in Tarboro. Tarboro's Second Saturdays is a monthly town-wide promotion originated by the Grassroots of Tarboro to help to make our beautiful town a more popular day-trip destination. There are different events and activities EVERY month, creating a full day of fun for folks of all ages.
We encourage all merchants, organizations, clubs, schools, churchs and individuals to participate. If you are planning an event, plan it to happen on a 2nd Saturday of the month and make it part of T2S.We want folks from all over to know that there is always something fun to do (WHERE?) in Tarboro (WHEN?) on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
T2S has become known for the downtown street fair on the sidewalks of Main Street. We'd also like to invite all artists, musicians, crafts-people, performers, story-tellers, dancers and food vendors to "strut your stuff" downtown during these monthly events. Simply contact any downtown business for permission to set up in front of their location. Bring life to Main Street!
